UOR Permit Update 7/9/12: Project 609

What a wonderful day it has been.  Universal finally announces the fourth resort hotel they have been mulling over since the concepts of Universal City and Universal Escape, and Orlando's permit reviewers have given us a little nugget of information.

While it is disheartening that Project 609 got its first "disapproval" that is often how we get our information.  Most of what we know about Hogwarts Express comes from the "Conditions" section from the permits.  As if there was any doubt left, Project 609 is going to be a ride:

"More information required on the type of waste (oily waste?) discharging into maintenance pit drains and Ride Lift Pit drains."
Sounds like the Transformers ride system from Universal Studios Hollywood, but again, that is still speculation.  What is no longer speculation is that Project 609 will be a ride and the ride will have a lift.  Also, you can cross House of Horrors off of your list!

Autobots, transform and roll out and keep following @Parkscope for your theme park needs.

  1. They must be pushing all the right buttons to be even considering resort number 4. Having said that, it makes me wonder when the hotel luton will consider expanding. As great as it is, I'm surprised it hasn't done so already.
